How to use citronella incense sticks

For the Garden

• Use 2-3 incense sticks in total
• Place each one in a heat-proof holder a few feet apart.
• Light the incense sticks until they glow red, and then blow out. 

They will begin to smoulder and give you a wonderful fragrant barrier against mosquitoes and insects.

Incense safety outdoors

Make sure the incense is used not close to plants or dried leaves and grass.  Be aware they will drop hot ash as they burn.  Keep as low to the ground as possible but avoid creating trip hazards.  Keep children and pets away at all times.  Never leave lit incense unattended.

For indoor home use

• Use 1 incense stick
• Place in a heat-proof holder large enough to catch falling hot ash.
• Light the incense stick until it glows red and then blow out. 
  

Incense safety indoors

Place the incense holder on a heatproof surface.  Ensure it is situated away from any soft furnishings or drafts.  Keep out of reach of children and pets at all times.  Never leave lit incense unattended.
